Rental
We
couldn’t keep this studio all to ourselves. We also rent it,
complete with equipment, to other photographers, to
videographers, to people holding workshops and parties, and to
anyone who’d like to use the space.
The studio is 34’x22’ with 12 ½ foot ceilings and garage door
access. There’s a private bathroom, a separate dressing room,
and tables set up in the front for hairstylists and make-up
artists. The make-up tables can be moved for your convenience,
and we have plenty of chairs for classes and workshops.
Our equipment includes: four AlienBees flash units (two B800 and
two B1600), two 13’ heavy-duty stands, one 10’ general purpose
light stand, one backlight stand, one 30”x60” giant softbox with
speedring, one 4-channel wired remote control, one 32”
silver/white reversible bounce umbrella, one 48” translucent
white “shoot-thru” umbrella, one set of 4 honeycomb grids, one
heavy-duty portable multi-background support system, five
10’x20’ muslin backdrops (2 black, 2 white, and chromakey
green), and about 20 colored gels.
Studio rental is $50 an hour.

you’ll ever want to know about how our graphics are made.
Tutorials are $75 an hour. Come in for one quick crash course,
or book several sessions for a more extensive education.

professional lights and backdrops? Want to learn how to get the
most out of your model? We’ll be happy to teach you everything
we know about photography. Bring your own model, or we’ll book
one for you.

Modeling
Classes
In life, looking
pretty isn't everything. Modeling is a skill, and a
difficult one. As we always say, great pianists practice every
day; they don’t take one lesson and then hop onstage for a
concert. Modeling takes daily practice, as well. You need to
spend time in front of the mirror and in front of the
photographer.
Get one-on-one coaching, or bring friends for a modeling class.
We’ll coach you on expressions, on posture, and on capturing the
right emotion with the right look.
At the end of the session, you’ll get a CD of all of the photos
taken, so that you can take them home and study your work. If
you’d like, we’ll e-mail you with some follow-up advice,
offering compliments and constructive criticism on which photos
work best, which don’t, and why.
Learning all you can
now before you move to a bigger market can give you an edge in a
very competitive industry.
The modeling class
rate is the same as the hourly photography rate, $75.

MySpace is the world’s biggest mall. It connects you to
millions of people. Once you’ve set up your page there, what are
you going to do with it? MySpace can be an amazing tool to
promote you, your business, and whatever you’ve set up your page
for, but it’s up to you to use that tool effectively. If you
have a MySpace page but only a few friends, you have a great
store but no shoppers. If you have a MySpace page but no blogs
or updates or content, you have a
store front without
products on the shelves.
The MySpace Accelerator can help. We’ll add 100 friends a
day (3,000 a month), post 50 comments a day (1,500 a month), and
post 2 bulletins a day (60 a month). At the end of each week,
we’ll e-mail you a status report with details on your page’s
progress, so you can watch your numbers go up!
The more activity people see on your page, the better. With the

Booking
There are
a lot of great models right here in the Little Rock area looking
for work. If you need models for your photography, for
your graphics, or for your event, we can provide them. Simply
let us know what kinds of models you’re interested in hiring, and
how many.
Casting Calls
Whether you’re casting for actors, photography models, runway
models, or anyone else, you’re welcome to hold your casting call
at JT Studios. We’ll help you to promote it and, if you’d like,
we’ll photograph everyone auditioning for your records.
Casting calls are free.
Retouching
(Retouching is one of the only areas where we will work with
other people’s photographs. The photograph doesn’t have to have
originated here at JT Studios for us to retouch it.)
You always want to look your best. Maybe you were tired on the
day of your photo shoot, or were having a bad skin day, or
want to hide a few stretch marks. Maybe you look great, but the photo’s kind of old,
and needs to be restored due to aging. Maybe you want your pageant
princess to shine!
That’s when you need the magic of retouching. A little smoothing
and shading can make the best picture even better!
Retouching costs $10 for print size and $3 for Internet size.
